William Deague

William Hunter Deague is the Chief Executive Officer of Asian Pacific Group (APG).

Educated at Melbourne Grammar, Will Deague is the eldest of four siblings Anthony, Jonathan & Camilla Deague. He holds a Domestic Builders Licence (unlimited) and a private fixed wing and helicopter licence. In February 2007 Will married Natalie Brownlee and they have two children Hugo & Sibella Deague.

Will joined APG in 1996 and worked on a range of projects. In 2008 he became the CEO & his first major project was to organise & oversee the refurbishment of the former PANCH hospital in Preston into what is now known as Bell City.

Caring for the environment and implementing green initiatives within the buildings is something that Will is conscious about. For his commute to work & daily site visits, Will drives an eco-friendly SMART car. Bicycles & SMART cars are also available to hire at the various Art Series Hotels.

In the next twelve months the main focus in this area will be project design and optimisation, to help us gain the most cost effective and energy efficient solutions accessible. Ongoing initiatives within the commercial properties include energy efficient globe & equipment replacements, building control upgrades, drought resistant gardens, & rain water tanks at selected sites.

Will is currently the president of the St Kilda Road Precinct Committee, a role that requires him to chair meetings and lobby sponsorships & funding for future projects along the boulevard.

Will enjoys membership to the following clubs: Royal South Yarra Lawn Tennis Club, Victoria Racing Club, Melbourne Cricket Club, The National Golf Club, Sorrento Golf Club and the Sorrento Sailing Club.
